Despite the tar sands of Alberta surely coming to a near halt with the deep drop in oil prices, Stussy plans to forge ahead with a new flagship store in the second best city in Alberta, Calgary. The venue for the yearly Stampede amongst a perennial NHL quarter-final loser in the Calgary Flames (with all their best players from Edmonton anyways), the opening of the store will provide a new focal point in the Western-themed city. Look for Stussy Calgary to open up in March of 2009.
