Guest Poster — This Is Sand

Body Navigation is an impressive reactive floor projection designed for a dance performance. The project is a collaboration between Ole Kristensen, Jonas Jongejan, choreographer Tina Tarpgaard, and the Recoil Performance Group. Body Navigation was first presented in spring 2008 at Kaleidoskop K2 in Copenhagen. It uses Processing for the infrared tracking of the dancers and draws graphics accordingly. During the performance, the choreographer controls everything live from an Isadora-based interface via OSC.
